Besonderheiten A close visit & evaluation of some of zero-energy buildings
Beginn 16.10.2017 um 10.00 Uhr

Ort Geb. 20.40 | Raum 130
Kurzbeschreibung This module intends to provide a practical challenge to familiarize students with a general and basic knowledge in the field of solar architecture. The fundamentals of architectural aspects of integration of photovoltaic in normal houses with emphasis on pure and simple ideas in favor of optimum integration are treated and an overview of the state of the art of the simplest existing houses utilizing photovoltaic panels would be discussed about. The output of discuses would be used in pre-evaluating of the selected prototypes in the case of their energy performance and/or providing the main strategy and basic knowledge to define conceptual ideas to integrate photovoltaic panels in innovative and efficient combinations.
In details, the seminar deals with fundamental architectural characteristics of simple solar-buildings and would mainly concentrate on identifying the components that are going to utilize solar modules in them. To visualize the practical aspect of the topic, the final task of students would be a deep understanding of the energy concepts of the buildings that they choose for their investigation, emerging the relative architectural characteristics and achieving to the knowhow of which architectural parameter would mainly affect the performance of solar building.
In parallel, as these kind of buildings are always using technical devices, so a very basic introduction of relevant devices integrated in these buildings would be as secondary target of the course.
